We are a friendly little group of Portesham villagers and their friends and families, meeting once, maybe twice a year for a Golf Society Day with some friendly banter. We are open to all genders with any handicap (just a sound knowledge of the current rules and etiquette of golf), so, if team golf is for you, you are welcome to join us in our annual competition, a hotly fought Texas scramble format with four in a team, usually held at Came Down Golf Course in the Autumn.

All you need do is contact our handicap secretary, Mr Colin Balmer, letting him have your contact details and your handicap and he will fit you in to a fair and balanced team of 4.

2023's comp was a delight between storms, we were incredibly lucky with the perfect weather, albeit a little windy, but, hey, it is Came Down after all!
